Our Principles
The Principles of ACC
The goals of ACC are to support the poor of Cambodia through:

Partnership and/or collaboration with Cambodian organisations that support the poor.

Providing improved educational opportunities for children and young people in poor Cambodian communities.

Promoting and encouraging good health and hygiene practices in rural Cambodian communities.

Mentoring Cambodian youth to assist them to develop to their fullest potential.

Providing support for programmes that encourage young Cambodian people to develop their skills and resilience.

Supporting programmes that encourage ethical citizenship in children and young people in Cambodia,

Providing opportunities for volunteers to assist local Cambodian communities to improve their living conditions.

Providing medical support for poor Cambodians.
Respect for Cambodian People:
As a group we are committed to upholding the rights of Cambodian people who face a range of challenges such as ill health, lack of education, poverty and a lack of family support. Because of these issues, it is recognised that people can be extremely vulnerable.
We commit to treat every Cambodian person with dignity and respect regardless of difference of ethnicity, religion, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, race, colour, language, political or other opinion, national and social origin, property, disability, birth status or economic circumstances.
The protection particularly of children and young people from all forms of physical, sexual and psychological harm is of paramount importance.
